We are committed to delivering the highest quality painting services in each project that we take. Therefore, taking the time to prepare before painting is important to us to achieve a beautiful finish. Here are the steps we take to properly paint interior surfaces:
Step #1: protect against paint splatters and scratches by covering flooring, furniture and fixtures with thick builder's paper, drop cloths and clean plastic sheeting.
Step #2: properly prepare woodwork by filling in nail holes and repairing damages with wood filler.
Step #3: sand all surfaces to help provide a smooth finish and to promote bonding.
Step #4: clean to remove dust, and other contaminants once sanding is complete.
Step #5: apply primer to promote adhesion and provide a smoother finish.
Step #6: new surface is lightly sanded a second time and cleaned.
Step #7: seams, joints and cracks are caulked for a more appealing finished product.
Step #8: two coats of paint are applied using applied a spray applicator to achieve a smooth and a more uniform finish.
Step #9: once woodwork has dried, preparation to paint ceilings and walls begins. Trim, windows and doors are masked to protect from paint splatters. Ceilings and walls are carefully inspected for damages and repaired.
Step #10: two coats of your choice of paint are generously applied to ceilings and walls.
Step #11: final clean up is performed and fixtures are put back in place. The owner and customer walkthrough the job to make sure you are completely satisfied.
